On Monday, the 14th of November, it was the day when we sang at Manukau, Vodafone Events Centre as the Kids 4 Kids choir. There were numerous students with us from different schools.  Jackie Clarke and Nathan King were the artists while Chris Lam Sam and Brooke Baker were the Music Directors.
Earlier that day, we had our rehearsal and practised the songs we had to sing. After a short break, we continued our rehearsal. We came back to school at about 1:00pm, we had our lunch and did some work before going home to  get ready for our night’s performance. But for me, I went to Annika’s house because my house is too far away from school. We came back to school at about 4:50 pm and waited for the other people to arrive.
When we were all there, we sat at the back of the stage where all students waited before the concert and that all of the Kids 4 Kids choir were there and ready. Once we were all set, we all got ready and a girl who works at the concert arranged to where we are all sitting, while the artists and music directors got ready. We waited for a little bit of time and started our concert.  We were halfway through our concert but we still had to have our break before continuing our concert. After that, we came back to the stage and continued singing. It was really fun but unfortunately, we all had to go home. The concert was done, we came down from the seats we are all in, hopped into our cars and drove back to school where our parents were waiting for my classmates and me.

After arriving at school, we hopped into our parents’ cars and drove home. The concert was very tiring but really fun at the same time. I ate my dinner, brushed my teeth, said my bedtime prayer and slept for tomorrow.
